Driving through the informal settlement in Fairylands this week I came upon a little boy doing his homework on the pavement next to his house. I was so moved by this act and once again realized how grateful we must be for what we have. So many of us have much more and are still not thankful!

The Khula boys' group program is really making an impact on these boys' lives. Two of these boys were interviewed by Wanda Bam of Radio Cape Pulpit and were also invited by Wanda and her two beautiful daughters to Bloemendal to tell their Story of Hope.

In July we went to visit the Thokomala House for children together with 4 of our Khula Grandmothers.

What a priviledge to bless them each with a blanket and enjoy an awesome afternoon together.

All the glory to our Father.

We are excited to carry on with our work after the July holidays.

Our out-of-school boys are motivated to grow, learn and work towards their goals. With the help of our 2 students from Hugenote Kollege we are busy helping them obtain their birth certificates so that they can get their ID documents.

Our primary caregiver group at Butterfly is really an inspiration for us all. We go to give, but in return receive so much more!!

Our whole team were invited by the Principal of Groenheuwel Primary to be thanked and encouraged for the work we do.

This is all by the Grace of God! We are so privileged to be in His service!

Frances Louw has been appointed to head up our office in Durbanville, Phisantekraal. We know it is a Godly appointment as she is involved with children in schools long before we have met her. Her passion to help the children and commitment to the community makes her a blessing to Khula. Her humbleness with the women and her heart to serve is bringing God's love to women who needs it.
