At New Orleans Primary school we have done more soaking with the boys and one boy started to cry about his little brother who died and we had time to minister to him and pray over him.

One of the other boys jumped up when the music stopped and said: "Wow, I really thought I was in heaven!" and told us how he saw a waterfall with him standing next to it and then an angel picked him up and lifted him to a place he thought could only be heaven.

What a privilege it is to pray and see how God speaks to each one of them differently - no matter what  their circumstances...

One of the Primary Care Givers daughters came to visit our group.  She is a Gr. 8 pupil that fell out of the school since February 2016.  ClechaĆ© Flanders, our social auxiliary worker talked to her to find the cause of the drop-out and also encouraged her to start school again.  She is a lovely, smart girl with alot of potential.  We are now contacting the schools for re-admission.  Please pray with us that they will re-admit her!

Two of our fieldworkers in Stellenbosch went to advocate with the headmaster of a shool for 3 of our teenage girls who have been out of school for some time now.  The headmaster was reluctant at first, but because of the fieldworkers' encouragement of the Primary Care Givers to go and visit the headmaster an the Fieldworkers' support of the girls;

We are excited and very grateful to testify that one of the Gr. 1 boys in our "in-school" support program (who was 21 days a term absent last year) has only missed 1 day of school during the second term of 2016.  Last year he has really done poorly at school, but improved greatly in his school work. We are so proud of him and pray that Holy Spirit will stir more in his heart to become who God has made him to be!

With our Champion Program which was only birthed in the 2nd term of 2016, we have been standing in awe of what God is already doing in these learner's lives.

  • 5 Learners accepted Christ in the first week of this program and we want to honour Christopher Tafel and Adrien White who gave their testimony's and blessed the learners with their interaction!
  • At LK Zeeman 4 of the learners stopped using Dagga after our first group session and is still maintaining their abstination.  Praise God!

Khula is working with an 11 year old boy who is struggling with all his schoolwork, because he can't read!!!  He did give his life to Jesus, but our Khula worker cried when he came to her and said: "Tannie, I did give my heart to Jesus, but my life keeps on being a mess, please help me!"  Please pray with us for supernatural breakthrough in his life.  We will keep on loving him unconditionally and praying life over his circumstances....and we will keep on journeying with him at school and we know that God will intervene!  Glory to God!

  • A learner with whom our co-ordinator at Klapmuts work with is starting to ask more about Jesus and who He is!  We are praying with Frances Louw that this learner will keep on being curios about Christ!
  • Another learner at Klapmuts could not identify the letters of the alphabet and he is starting to spell easy words regardless his conditions at home.  Please pray for this learner, he is really struggling, but praise God for the progress we already see in his life!

A learner who lives in Cloetesville and attends school in Jamestown was absent regularly due to transport problems because of the financial challenges her family was experiencing.  After intervention by our 2 Khula fieldworkers, this learner now travels to school with a teacher every day! This learner's mother also recently gave her life to the Lord through the teacher's leading!  This learner is now doing great at school and she said she is so grateful for the help from Khula that she would like to thank them with flowers and choclates when she is financially able.  All honour and glory to Our Father who is ever faithful!

A grade 6 learner at Paulus Joubert Primary was absent for 63 days in 2014 and after a year and a half's intervention, a whole lot of love and care of our Khula Fieldworkers and the "in-school-support program" we are happy to say that he is now attending school regularly and his grandmother (Primary Care Giver) testified that there is a huge improvement in her grandson.  All the glory to God!

These parents (of children in Khula's integration system) had interviews with Welgevallen psycological services in preparation for their children's psychometric testing.

Welgevallen provides Khula Stellenbosch with such amazing services and bless us at no cost.

We praise God for their hearts for our community!

Khula Fieldworkers and Coordinators went on an outreach with Pastor Moon's church of Korea.

Groups were formed, whereafter we walked through Paarl East praying for families in their homes. What a blessing for all.

Amazing testimonies of women touched by God, healed and restored and accepting Jesus Christ as their Saviour.

Our God is Alive!

Great fun at our Chicago Women's Group as we taught and developed skills in different kinds of hand projects.

These women have opened up to the Word of God and each week they are excited and hungry for more. We are trusting the Lord for work/houses and some other spiritual breakthroughs in their lives.

All the glory to God for what He has done already!
